Using Hypnosis and NLP Techniques to Improve Your Self Esteem and Confidence
Confidence or the lack of it can make our lives wonderful or miserable. What’s fascinating is that all of us are born with more than enough confidence to do anything we want. The problem is that many of us run into obstacles in our lives that cause us to think poorly of ourselves.
People who have confidence seemed to draw success to themselves. While people who lack confidence seem to repel not only success, but people too. Over the years I’ve worked with many people who wanted to improve their confidence for a number of reasons, from performing better on the job to finding someone to love. I must admit that at one time self-confidence was something I lacked.
The great news is that confidence is something you can develop. It’s a learned trait. That’s why I wrote this article. To give a little help to anyone who lacks the confidence they need it order to achieve the things they like to do.
This article goes over some easy-to-follow steps on how to build self-confidence and self-esteem. These steps work for me and many of my clients. They just have to be followed on a regular basis.
Just remember what Mary Anne Radmacher once said, “Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, “I will try again tomorrow.”
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit!”– Aristotle
Bronnie Ware is a palliative care nurse who has worked with hundreds of people who have gone home to die. She recently wrote a list on her blog of the top 5 regrets people say aloud on their deathbed. I would encourage you to go to her blog and read the article. What I found interesting was that the number one regret was “I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.” I think this could apply to almost anyone.
I believe that one of the biggest reasons that people don’t do the things they really want to do is because they lack the self-esteem or courage and confidence to go after what they really want. Because of their lack of confidence they have a hard time believing in themselves.
